We can certainly service all Risco alarms fitted in the last 12 years. Some of the older models – while a basic service could be carried out, parts may be difficult to get to replace any faulty ones. Please do call and we can help you identify the model and confirm what can and cannot be done with your system.

Risco alarms may give warning beeps for a number of reasons – most common ones being, low battery issues, tamper faults, signal issues, communication errors or faulty devices. Most issues could be fixed by a service by our qualified engineers.
You can temporarily stop the beeping for up to 4 hours by disarming the system and it should stop beeping around 8pm if the time on the panel is correct. The beeping will return in the morning. Please do book a service to fix the issue permanently.
The system will display a series of warnings either on the control panel or keypad, depending on the model of the alarm. You may not get notifications on your app if you have a smart alarm. Key fob batteries can be replaced by users, other devices should be serviced professionally. We only charge you for the batteries we replace for you. Prices as published on the service page.
Certainly. Our engineers do carry most parts for Risco alarms in our van. If any on your Risco parts are faulty, damaged or needs replacing, our engineers will be able to do it on the same visits. All prices are as published on the website.

We can also offer all-inclusive service plans, 24/7 central station monitoring and even police response if you would like.
We certainly can. To service a Risco alarm, we need both master user code and engineer’s codes. If you don’t have the codes, we can do a code reset and reprogram the system if needed, to gain access to it. We do charge a fee for it. Rest assured, we can definitely service the system and clear all faults and errors on it.
We certainly can. Once we complete the initial service visit which includes checking system for all compliance requirements and full service, we can offer you a service plan that specifically meets your insurance needs, whether it is a simple service plan, or service with monitoring or police response. Please note, some systems may require additional communication devices for monitoring.
Depending on the model of Risco alarm and available communication modules, we can enable communication features for your Risco alarm either using the iRisco or FreeControl app. Alternatively we can also add GSM unit with a specialist multi roaming SIM card for calling and texting. Please note there is ongoing costs associated with Risco app subscription and/ or SIM card charges. We will also have to check if your system has the IP/ GSM modules, if not new ones need adding.
