Most burglar alarm and CCTV systems in England come with a standard 12–24-month manufacturer’s warranty. Once this ends, alarm repairs, engineer call-outs, and replacement parts can quickly become costly and unpredictable.
Our Extended Warranty Plan for security systems is designed to remove that risk entirely – for home and business alarm systems.
We carry out regular checks on your burglar alarm, intruder alarm, or CCTV system to identify faults early and ensure optimum performance at all times. All plans include annual alarm servicing as standard.
As long as maintenance continues, your home or business security system qualifies for extended warranty coverage — for up to 10 years.
If an alarm, CCTV, or other security component fails, we diagnose the issue, provide remote support where possible, attend site if needed, and replace faulty parts at no extra cost.

With FHA Security’s alarm maintenance and extended warranty plan, aftercare begins from the day of alarm installation or CCTV installation.
The extended warranty can last up to 10 years, provided your system remains on an active maintenance plan from the date of installation.
The FHA extended warranty and maintenance plan covers faulty or failed system components, including sensors, control panels, and batteries, along with free engineer call-outs and labour charges, and annual maintenance visits, subject to fair use and ongoing servicing.
Any portable devices like remote control keyfobs, panic buttons and proximity tags. Any damages caused by vandalism and any external factors like floods, thunderstorms or lightning.
You can carry on having the extended warranty and maintenance from us if we remove and reinstall the systems for you. The system removal and reinstallation will be a chargeable service.
We can still maintain your alarm and service it for you. The product won’t be covered by the warranty, but the service and any callouts required will all be covered in the fixed cost package. The only additional cost will be the cost of replacing any faulty parts.
Yes. Engineer call-outs related to system faults are included at no additional cost while your extended warranty and maintenance plan are active.

Yes. Annual system maintenance is included and is essential to keeping the extended warranty valid and your system operating reliably.
Yes. Many insurers expect alarm systems to be professionally maintained. Regular servicing under the extended warranty can help demonstrate compliance and system reliability.
Yes. You can cancel at any time, as there is no fixed-term agreement.
If you upgrade or add components, FHA Security will advise how the extended warranty applies to new equipment and whether additional cover is required.
Yes. The extended warranty is suitable for both residential and business security systems installed and maintained by FHA Security.
Call us if you have a problem with your alarm, our engineers will try and rectify it remotely for you. If we cannot fix the problem remotely or need an engineer to visit to resolve the problem,they will offer a temporary fix on the same day and arrange for an engineer to visit you.
Unfortunately, the extended warranty option is only available if you set this up when the alarm is installed for you. You could still get the alarm maintained with free callouts and all inclusive service package for you. The only additional cost will be the cost of replacing any faulty parts.
The payments are made by monthly/ quarterly direct debit, and your bank statement will show ‘Fitted Home Alarms’ against the payments.
Our monthly direct payments depend on the make and model of your alarm system, and also the total number and types of devices your security system has. Talk to us to get a bespoke price for your system
Certainly! We can certainly install your alarm system with a one-off installation cost. Such systems will still come with a 1-year onsite warranty. You could still call us for services, as and when required, for a one-off cost.
