It is perfect for those who have pets at home because the movement of your pets can cause false alarms if you are not using Pet-friendly sensors with your alarm system.
The pet sensors not ideal if you have pets that climb on furniture. So if you cats or very active dogs, this is not the best pet friendly alarm in the market.
All the features for this Pet-friendly Yale 6400 alarm system remain the same as the Yale 6400 burglar alarm.
Yale 6400 wireless burglar alarm is one of the most popular Yale alarms. It is a DIY alarm that makes it easy to install and set up on any property. Yale alarm is a self-monitoring alarm system that allows you to add up to 3 contact numbers to the control panel and alerts on these numbers everytime an alarm is triggered. It also allows you to partially arm the system referred to as “part arm”. It is beneficial during the night when someone wishes to arm just a part of their property like the ground floor. It includes tamper warning protection and can be expanded with up to 20 Yale devices like PIR sensors, Smoke alarms, Keyfobs, door/window contacts. Yale alarms can be easily expandable in the future. On the day of installation, our installers may recommend further addition of PIRs or door contacts or other security devices to ensure all parts of your property are protected to adequate levels.
Backup Battery
Our alarms come with backup battery and will continue to work even under any power failures. It will also warn you of the power failure.
Standard Warranty
All our systems come with a minimum of 1 year warranty as standard. Add our maintenance plan to get 10 year unlimited warranty!
NOT Insurance Approved
This alarm is not a British Standard alarm, that meets the minimum grading requirements. It does not mean it is a bad system, but it does not require the typical requirements of an insurance provider. Talk to us if you are not sure if this applies to you.
Call Alert – Landline
Telecommunicating PSTN alarm, uses your landline to call the keyholders if alarm is triggered.

Pet Friendly
The motion sensors are pet tolerant and will ignore movement of smaller animals within the property. This will allow you to leave your pets behind when you arm your alarm.
Extended Warranty
Our maintenance plan includes 10 years extended warranty, at an all-inclusive fixed cost service, extended warranty on all fixed parts, and free callouts and cost of replacing parts and batteries. There is no fixed term contract, you can cancel any time you wish.
Smoke Detection
Add smoke detection sensors to get alerted if there is a fire. They call trigger the alarm and alert keyholders if needed – handy if the fire happens when you are away.
Remote Keyfob
Remote control Keyfob allows operating the burglar alarm from a distance, without the need for punching your user code. You can use it when you go out and also at night – handy to do it from bed and the keyfob can also work as a portable panic button.
Live Siren is Wireless and is operated by a Lithium battery. The siren is connected to the main panel via Wifi. When the alarm is triggered it lights up and sound for up to 3 mins, the siren output is 110 decibels.
Dummy Siren is a box that can be fixed to the rear of the property as a visual deterrent, (it does not light up or sound in the event of an intrusion).
The Control panel is the brain to the alarm which allows you to arm and disarm the system. It is connected to the main PowerPoint and has a backup battery for when there is a power failure, all devices are wirelessly connected to this unit.
The PSTN module allows you to connect the alarm to your landline, in the event of a trigger it will use your landline to call the pre-programmed emergency numbers.
Door & Window Contact is a wireless accessory that is paired with your Burglar Alarm when the door or window connected to it is opened this triggers the alarm.
PET-PIR Motion Detector is a passive infrared sensor that measures infrared light that is reflected off moving objects that emit heat, this sensor has a filter which allows your pet to move around freely without triggering the alarm. It is ideal for a small house pet of less than 20 kg.

You are in control of how and when your security system is maintained. You have three options All-inclusive fixed cost service with an extended warranty (recommended) comes with service visits, extended warranty for all fixed parts of up to 10 yea£ You can cancel anytime you wish. Standard Annual service- Annual service visit at a fixed cost. The only optional extra cost is the cost of replacing any faulty or damaged parts. Pay as and when you need a one-off service for your alarm system. One of labour and part charges will apply.

Standard Warranty All our products come with a minimum one-year onsite warranty here at FHA Security. If you have any difficulties with your security system during the warranty period, please let us know and we will resolve it immediately. If necessary, we will also send a technician (free of charge) to repair or replace any defective parts, if necessary.
All of our security systems can be upgraded to a 10-year warranty plan. This does not involve a fixed-term contract and any problems reported during that period shall be resolved as soon as possible. If necessary, we will also arrange free visits to your property by the engineer.
This plan includes service, defective part replacement and change of battery, without any additional cost, all at a fixed monthly cost.
At FHA Security, we give our customers the flexibility to choose how to service their systems.
1. An annual maintenance plan with a 10-year extended warranty (recommended option): – our all inclusive fixed cost plan, payable on a monthly basis.
2. Pay as you go Maintenance: 1 year of standard warranty and service as and when you request it.
Almost all of our alarms can be self-monitored or monitored by a third party depending on your personal preference or insurance requirements.
1) Self-monitored alarms have cheaper on-going costs as they either use your landline (PSTN) or sim card (GSM) within the alarm to contact you directly.
2) The third-party monitored alarm alerts our 24/7 Alarm Response Center (ARC) and may call key holders and/or police depending on your package.
